NIKKI WEAVER
Leading People, Shaping Systems & Building Genuine Connection

CLIENT CASE STUDY:
"Just recently finished a campaign with Nikki, have to say very professional and on the ball. Being a soul trader, I was wary with the cost of what I was going to get, but since the campaign with Nikki the work has really picked up and plenty of interest on my fb page."
NICK WEAVER
OWNER/OPERATOR | LUX SURFACE REPAIRS

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Amazingly, Nick is not a relation. We met coincidentally through his construction company and decided that Weavers ought to stick together.
When Nick first chatted to me about marketing, he had just started to ramp-up Lux, which was only a side business at the time. His goal was to build an alternative business that would be easier on his body, and eventually allow him to retire from construction.
Challenge
When Nick approached me about marketing Lux Surface Repairs, the business was at an important turning point. Originally established as a side venture alongside his construction work, Lux represented an opportunity to build a more sustainable business model and eventually transition away from the physical demands of construction.
The business already had an established visual identity, but the brand no longer reflected where Nick wanted to take the company. The challenge was to refine and elevate the existing identity, positioning Lux as a premium surface repair specialist for high-end residential, property and hospitality clients.
Brand Strategy
The first step was understanding what made Lux different.
While the original branding had a strong foundation, there was a disconnect between the visual identity and the quality of service Nick wanted to provide. The existing logo's sweeping lines unintentionally resembled a road or asphalt resurfacing company, creating a perception that didn't align with Lux's focus on refined interior surfaces and high-end finishes. The strategy was to shift the brand from a general repair service to a premium specialist, communicating precision, craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Creative Direction
I refined and modernised the existing logo, maintaining elements of the original brand equity while creating a more sophisticated identity aligned with the company's future direction.
The updated design removed the road-like associations and introduced a cleaner, more elevated visual style. A supporting tagline, High Quality Surface Repairs, was incorporated to immediately clarify the company's offering and reinforce its premium positioning.
The wider brand identity followed the same philosophy: sleek, understated and quality-focused. Marketing materials were designed to allow the craftsmanship and finished results to take centre stage, appealing to luxury property owners, real estate professionals and hospitality clients seeking a trusted specialist.
Brand Growth & Content Support
To support Lux's growth phase, I developed the brand tone of voice and messaging strategy, ensuring all communications reflected the company's premium positioning while remaining approachable and authentic.
I also supported the launch of its digital presence by creating an initial month of social media content, including reels, posts, mobile video content and stories. This included copywriting, content planning and scheduling, giving Nick the tools and confidence to continue managing his own channels as the business grew.
Outcome
The refreshed brand provided Lux Surface Repairs with a stronger foundation for growth, better reflecting the quality of work and level of service behind the business.
By repositioning the brand away from a general repair service and towards a premium specialist offering, Lux was able to communicate its value more clearly to the audiences it wanted to attract.
This project was a great example of the power of strategic refinement: sometimes a brand doesn't need to start over. It simply needs to rediscover what makes it valuable and bring that story to the surface.
